After completing her BCompt and BCompt (Hons) degree cum laude at Unisa, Freda qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010 having completed her articles with a medium size auditing firm. She completed her final IRBA board exam with honours, finishing joint 8th place. She obtained her BCom (Hons) Taxation degree receiving the best student award in three of the four modules. In 2015 she obtained her MCom (Tax) degree cum laude and received the award for the best student in coursework. Freda is a Registered Auditor, Chartered Accountant and Master Tax Practitioner. In 2012 she was appointed as an assessor in the tax court for five years. Freda is responsible for providing technical corporate tax related advice including the drafting of opinions and tax ruling applications. She has concluded objections and appeals during her professional career and is committed to staying up to date with the constant changes in tax law.
